Ear Pressure Point
We know that the ear pressure point is sensitive, and that a blow to the ear can cause some pain, but if the attacker is larger than we are (and usually they are) the ears could be hard to reach. If the attacker were behind me and close, I might throw a wild hammer fist or elbow strike hoping to hit any head target. The ear would be an acceptable contact. If in front, a knife hand or hammer fist would be effective if you could reach. Of course injury to the attacker's hearing could result, temporary or permanent. That would have to be a powerful blow. Directly behind the ear lobe there is a hollow spot. Pain can be affected when pressure is applied by grinding with your thumbs or knuckle here. Obviously you are pretty close here. Let’s hope you never get this close, but biting an ear could be quite effective. If you’re in this close, a great partner to this technique would be a knee to the groin. Or when he backs off a little, perhaps feed him some elbow- forward and back. This method may not incapacitate an attacker as much as aggravate him, so remember the next move as soon as his grip is loosened- RUN
